Morse Field Strap

Price

$38.00

Born from a request by a combat-rescue professional, the Morse Field Strap was developed as a more discreet alternative to steel and a more fluid-resistant option than leather.

Made from high-performance fluoroelastomer, it’s built to withstand blood, mud, and crud. A Morse code alphabet is laser-engraved on the underside, keeping an emergency communication reference close at hand.

Finished in Admiralty Grey with 316L stainless steel hardware, each strap is accompanied by our Morse Communication Field Extract.

Blood. Mud. Crud.

Field equipment gets dirty. So instead of telling you how easy the Morse Field Strap is to clean, we’d rather show you.

The same contaminants are applied to the Morse Field Strap and a conventional woven nylon NATO, then taken to the sink and washed.

Fluoroelastomer is highly resistant to oils, chemicals, and fluids, so whatever you pick up during the day doesn’t have to stay on your wrist.

No soaking. No scrubbing. No carrying someone else’s bodily fluids around on your wrist. Wash it as easily as you would the steel on your watch.

MORSE CODE

Long before satellite phones, GPS beacons, and digital radios, Morse code was a fundamental tool of military, maritime, and emergency communication.

Its strength is its simplicity. If you can create two distinguishable signals, you have the basis of a communication system.

The Morse reference wasn’t added just for looks. On a strap developed from a combat-rescue request, it made sense to include a simple communications system that can be transmitted with light, sound, tapping, or virtually any two distinguishable signals.

Each Morse Field Strap includes our Emergency Communication Field Extract, covering Morse characters, basic signaling procedure, and examples of how an emergency message can be structured.
